Many of u actually reached out after the Cartier event asking me:
"Serene… HOW did Cartier find Sundays Dawn?"
Aigoo… life has been moving so quickly that I'm only finally finding time to sit down and share this story properly.
Because truthfully?
There is always this unsettling question that creeps into my mind many times every year:
"Where are the next calligraphy teaching opportunities going to come from?"
As a calligraphy entrepreneur and educator, my reality today looks very different from when I was a full-time teacher.
I now have:
• No fixed income
• No basic salary
• No guarantees
Three years into building Sundays Dawn, and honestly, I still don't have:
• A marketing team
• A PR agency
• A dedicated marketing budget
Sometimes I genuinely sit there and think:
"Lord... HOW is this even working?"
And perhaps an even bigger question:
"How will this continue to work?"

Yet year after year, the Lord continues to go before me.
And somehow, there is always just enough. 🤍
One of the greatest blessings in this journey has been word of mouth.
For this, I am deeply grateful to every single person who has supported Sundays Dawn.
As our Calligraphy Growth Circles (CGC) community grows, members naturally begin sharing about their experiences with others around them.
People who have attended our Zoom workshops, corporate calligraphy sessions, and in-person classes lovingly tell their:
• Companies
• Schools
• Churches
• Ministries
• Friends and family
about Sundays Dawn.
And somehow, my name starts appearing in rooms and conversations with people I've never even met before.
That alone amazes me.

And then came the Cartier story.
The events team organising Cartier's staff development day reached out to me regarding a corporate calligraphy workshop.
Naturally, I was curious.
So I asked:
"How did you find Sundays Dawn?"
The answer completely caught me off guard.
She shared that someone inside Cartier had specifically recommended Sundays Dawn by name.
Someone had heard about what I do.
Someone believed in the experience enough to recommend it.
Someone inside Cartier specifically asked for Sundays Dawn.
I got goosebumps.
Because the truth is...
I don't know anyone at Cartier.
I genuinely don't.
I remember thinking:
"Wait... WHO is this person?!" 😭
And yet...
The Lord did.
He knew exactly who to nudge.
Exactly what to say.
Exactly when to move.
If u happen to be that person reading this today, please reach out.
I would genuinely love the chance to thank u personally. 🤍
One verse I keep coming back to in this season is:
"A person's steps are directed by the Lord. How then can anyone understand their own way?"
Proverbs 20:24
I used to read this verse and feel slightly unsettled.
Because it means I am not ultimately the one charting this path.
And as someone who loves planning...
Aigoo.
That can be difficult.
What I'm still learning is this:
My responsibility is faithfulness.
One session.
One participant.
One conversation.
One genuine connection at a time.
That is my job.
The orchestrating?
That belongs to Him.
I don't need to know everyone.
I don't need to force every opportunity.
I simply need to keep showing up wholeheartedly and trust that He knows exactly who to bring through these gates.
Even someone inside Cartier whom I have never met. 😭🤍
Perhaps you're in a season of wondering right now.
Wondering where the provision is going to come from.
Wondering whether what you're doing even matters.
Wondering if the doors will ever open.
May this encourage you:
If He has given you the work, He will also see it through.
He goes before you too.
Often in ways you could never plan.
Often through people you've never met.
Often through doors you didn't even know existed.
And sometimes...
through someone inside Cartier recommending your name when you least expect it.

I would genuinely love to hear your story.
Have you experienced a similar testimony of God's faithfulness?
A moment where an unexpected door opened and you knew it could only have been Him?
Share your story with me.
These testimonies remind us that we are never walking alone.
Warmly,
Serene
Founder, Sundays Dawn
